Raphael Azran was born on November 1960 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
As a child, Raphael immersed his little self into the culture of his homeland, and would ignite in him a passion for its unique style and architecture.

At the age of 23, his love for fashion took him to Italy. That was only the beginning. His next adventure would take him to Japan where he discovered new and exciting design techniques which would allow him to develop his own innovative style that exudes a mastery of those experiences around the world.

This can be felt through each of his creations. His perfectionism is driven by mastery of his elaborate technique, which endows each of his creations with character, light and identity which emanates from the very heart of all his works.

Raphael’s technique brings together marquetry, jewelry, sculpture, stones, exotic woods and bronze. Coming together in a perfectly subtle aura of colors which imbue harmony, balance and well being, as with the ethereal touch of the finest silk.

Through his work, Raphael transports us into a mysterious and exotic realm, magical yet real, where balance and harmony join to become one. Raphaels’ work is truly thought provoking. He cannot be included in any existing movement or school of thought. The beauty of each piece is innovative and timeless.

Raphael has been commissioned by public and private clients from around the world ranging from Royalty, Celebrities, Interior Designers and Architects.

His creations have been seen in art galleries from The Royal Gallery on the Champs Elysees in Paris to Art Basel, Miami.

Today, Raphael continues to create magical pieces from his studio in South Florida, where his never-ending passion flourishes.
