Born in Fort Lauderdale and now residing in the Pacific Northwest, Tom Rossetti has left an indelible mark on the art world. Rossetti has excelled both as a professional artist and as an art dealer. Rossetti's artistic journey began at Florida Atlantic University, where he pursued his passion for the arts. In 1986, he graduated with BFA degrees in both Studio Painting and Art History. This solid foundation in academic training laid the groundwork for his artistic pursuits and set the stage for his future endeavors. 

Classically trained, Rossetti has developed his artistic style into an Abstract Expressionist approach. Inspired by the works of renowned artists such as Rothko, Frankenthaler, and Motherwell, he draws upon their influence in his early works. Rossetti's newer series of paintings take cues from artists like Wileman, Phillips, and Markman, guiding his creative process towards new horizons. Embracing the freedom of expressing emotions through his art, Rossetti allows the paint itself to guide the mood and composition of his canvases. 

The rich heritage that flows through Rossetti's veins is reflected in his artistry. His lineage can be traced back to the renowned Pre-Raphaelite painter Dante Gabrielle Rossetti and his esteemed poet sister, Christina Georgina Rossetti. Tom Rossetti's artistic endeavors have garnered widespread acclaim, with his works gracing private collections in the United States and Europe. 

In my own words: "As an artist, I take in and process imagery from the natural world and our daily lives. Some ofthat imagery remains with me through memories, experiences, and dreams. It is my challenge tointerpret this information in a personal and intuitive way and render it to canvas. I want to triggeran emotional response in the viewer that is relatable and comforting...an inner peace, a specialmoment, a discovery, or a connection."
