HAPPENINGS: Onessimo to highlight artist’s work

Internationally known as one of the most gifted art prodigies of a generation, Alexandra Nechita brings “Reimagined,” an exhibition of new work, to Onessimo Fine Art in Palm Beach Gardens.

This remarkable art prodigy, “a master of light and color,” will exhibit and meet with guests at three separate events, one especially for children.

Born in Romania in 1985, Ms. Nechita immigrated to the United States as a baby, and began drawing soon after. At 7, she was working with oil paints and acrylics and by 8, she had held her first solo exhibition at a local Los Angeles Library. By age 9, Ms. Nehcita reportedly had thousands of fans, and even the art critics were impressed. Now 34, she still sparkles with the passion and likeability. “Reimagined” features work which represents Nechita’s growth from a talented child to a mature artist.
