Sonia Torres was born in Cali, Colombia in 1936. She graduated from Universidad del Valle. Her passion for creation is demonstrated in her work, whether it be an orchid, or a silver stallion prancing in the wind, or a kingly powerful lion. Her work has graced museums in Colombia, Museo de la Tertulia and in Venezula, Museo de Arte Moderno.
